Hosted by Claire, an experienced Newcastle-based jeweller, you'll learn how to use silver clay to craft your own fine silver jewellery to cherish forever. Whether you're looking for a one of a kind gift for a loved one or want hen party ideas for small groups, this class is a brilliant option.
After arriving at Claire's studio, she'll take you through some expert demonstrations of all the equipment and techniques you'll be using to make your chosen piece, covering everything from rolling and firing your clay to the final polishing and burnishing process. Then it'll be your turn to get stuck in as you make your own unique pendant or pair of earrings!
Don't worry if this is your first time making your own jewellery, as Claire will be on hand to offer handy hints, tips and guidance to make sure your jewellery turns out just how you wanted it. You'll leave the class creatively fulfilled, with some shiny new jewellery and the skills to continue this exciting hobby at home.
Please note: The teacher can accommodate groups of up to three people at her studio. For groups up to five, a venue can be arranged, or you're welcome to arrange your own. This workshop is not suitable for under age 16. There must be more than one person booked in for the workshop to go ahead.
