Design your own custom cap at this embroidery class in Cambridge, using an embroidery technique made popular by the Tudors! Blackwork embroidery uses simple stitches to create beautifully intricate geometric patterns. Working from templates, we will go step-by-step to stitch our caps. You can even customise your colour and motifs to suit your style.
Whether you're new to stitching or an experienced maker, this workshop will guide you through each stage in a fun, relaxed setting. No previous experience needed, and all tools and materials are provided. Just bring yourself and your creativity!
All materials for this activity are provided, including:
- Cotton cap (OCS 100 certified, metal buckle)
- Cotton embroidery threads
- Dissolvable embroidery stabiliser template (biodegradable PVA)
