Spend a day learning the basics of modern upholstery while making your own mid-century style footstool from scratch. This beginner-friendly workshop is hands-on from start to finish, with guidance from upholsterer Rebecca Subido of Selvedge Edge Upholstery.
You’ll build and upholster a 45 × 35 cm footstool using modern upholstery techniques, including cutting foam, attaching wadding and fabric, making piping, and adding buttons. You’ll use professional workshop tools and equipment, including a pneumatic staple gun, foam cutter, and industrial sewing machine.
