This is a fun activity in Liverpool

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space?Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.

During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.

You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Beth was excellent and very knowledgeable. She definitely inspired confidence by personalising her tips. The course provided a good overview of the machine, design space and just how quickly a project can be created. HOWEVER, I would have expected to be able to have a go myself. Key to learning any new school is putting it into practice. On a different day, or perhaps with a less experienced teacher, the content of the session would not have given me the same confidence due to the absence of hands on practice. It is also worth establishing disability requirements in advance as I did not expect to be standing for an hour. I have hidden disabilities that meant I was in a lot of discomfort by the end of the session. It's fairly standard practice to ask this now, it clearly hasn't been considered in offering these workshops. No reflection on Beth - the company needs to perhaps run a focus group on what their target audience want or expect from a session like this.

We had a class with Beth at Hobbycraft Aintree. Beth was teaching us how to use the cricut machine. Beth certainly knew her stuff. Beth was very informative, easy to understand and talk to. Beth was extremely patient with us and answered all our questions making sure we knew what to do. Allowing us time to write down all instructions. Would highly recommend a class to anyone interested in learning how to use their new cricut machine.
