This is a fun activity in Preston

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space?Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.

During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.

You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

I attended the crucut 1 to 1 today at the Preston branch. To be fair, the lady I saw absolutely did her best to answer all my questions, she had some tips and gave the best advice she could. However, I feel she wasn't given the correct information or tools by Hobbycraft to run a really successful 1 to 1 session that is charged for. She openly admitted she was a self taught crafter and there were many aspects of Cricut she hadn't used for herself, so was unable to answer some of my questions. She was professional throughout and really did try her best to help me, so my issue is not with her. I have come away with some useful information but I must admit, I expected far more considering I had paid for the session. All of that information, I could have found in a cricut self help text book, which Hobbycraft sells for £20. I could have saved self some money and had all the info I needed, permanently. I feel she was thrown in at the deep end at the last minute, so fair play to her. As an experienced professional in my field of work, I too have run workshops and masterclasses, that I have charged for. In return for that charge, my guests have received 25 years of extensive knowledge from the Hair industry, come away with tips, tricks, demonstrations and a useful tools goody bag. All for a lot less than I was charged today, for a poor lady thrown in at the last minute to offer her self taught knowledge. Hats off to her for doing her absolute best. Do better Hobbycraft.
