“Purchased this experience as an outing with family. The venue was not as expected, although parking is easy, it was in a shared office space building that had little/none air flow for using glue with such strong fumes. The initial instructions from the facilitator was lacking and we found ourselves constantly asking for clarification. Perhaps having a pre made lamp, photos of other patterns and written instructions may have helped. The facilitator was lovely to chat to and was very approachable. The lamp is of high quality and overall I was happy with the end product even if I felt a little ill from the fumes.
Iv read other reviews of this class being in a great atmosphere and a complimentary tea/turkish delight offered but this was not the case today.
If it wasn’t for the quality of the lamp product and niceness displayed from the facilitator I would have given 0 stars.”
“Got scammed! We arrived and the venue was “moved months ago” as we couldn’t find it and talked to local stores, and the number wasn’t working. $118 transaction is still pending, and we had no class”
“This is a really mindful class hosted in a relaxed atmosphere. The design mats are so easy to use to plan out your mosaic and all of the materials (beautiful hand cut tiles) are organised and waiting for you in every colour you could want. The Studio has lamp examples so you can see how the light will look through the different colours and the teacher can help you to avoid those that won’t look as nice together. What I loved most was the welcoming environment and the small touches like the Turkish tea just like you’d expect from a family run business.”
“Very attentive instructor cultivating a positive environment. It was our first time for myself and my friend attending an activity like this. The instructor was lovely to interact with and let us explore our creativity. We really loved that we were given autonomy to create our own creations using our imaginations. For future workshops, we would like to suggest if there is an opportunity for attendees to mingle/network before the workshop starts.”
