“I’m so glad I signed up for the class. Blythe was lovely. I am a beginner and she taught in a way that I felt I was understanding the different techniques and their uses. A real bonus to have a portrait of Percy my dog at the end of the lesson. The watercolour was not totally complete in the lesson but I felt confident enough to continue on my own. The brushes and paint were a welcomed bonus.
Thank you so much”
“Blythe was amazing!! The whole set up was great and such a fun day! We learnt so much and got to take home our gorgeous pet paintings, but also watercolour supplies. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a bit of fun.”
“The class was absolutely fantastic ... It was such a good pace of great direction and getting stuck into it... I'm so proud of the painting I have done and excited to continue working on it... It's really given me the tools to start painting and good technique for it to turn out pretty alright :) thank you!”
“Blythe was a very knowledgeable and engaging teacher who shared multiple techniques and tips in using watercolour. Though we didn’t finish our painting in class, Blythe ensured we walked out with the knowledge and materials to be able to complete it at home. Having no proper experience with watercolour before, I was very happy with how our painting turned out!
Thank you for a fun lesson, Blythe!”
“I found my first art class experience to be informative, interesting and fun. This class was a gift and I came away with a new appreciation of water colour artists. Blythe was an excellent teacher and was readily available to assist when needed. I now have my own unique water colour of my dog.
And the knowledge to start a new hobbie!
Thank you Blythe!”
“I highly recommend the The Pet Portrait Watercolour Painting class with Blythe Ashton at OneArt Studio in Stanmore. Although I had no prior experience, Blythe was patient and well-prepared. She modelled different techniques and provided clear instructions that made it easy to follow along. All materials were provided and we could take home our watercolour brushes and a colour palette. Following our workshop, Blythe sent an email providing a list of suggested materials for those that wanted to continue exploring watercolour painting. By the end of the session I walked away with a painting that I never imagined I could produce. Highly recommended!”
