“I recently attended the Resin Jewellery Making Class Using Moulds and wanted to share my experience.
Overall, we did enjoy the class and found it to be a fun and creative experience. It was great to try something new, and despite a few hiccups, it’s definitely something we’ll remember (in a good way!).
That said, I think there are a few areas that could be improved. The studio itself felt quite disorganised, and it was sometimes difficult to locate materials and tools. The workspace was also a bit messy, which made things slightly more challenging than they needed to be.
I also think it would be helpful if aprons were offered to participants. I did end up getting resin on my clothing—which is partly on me—but having protective gear available would make the experience more comfortable for everyone.
While the organiser was very friendly and repeatedly reassured us that there was “no rush,” we did still feel a little rushed at times, which took away slightly from what could have been a more relaxed, creative process.
Overall, it was an enjoyable and unique experience, just a little unconventional. With a bit more organisation and attention to detail, it could be absolutely fantastic.”
