“It was my first ever cocktails class and I didn't expect it will be so funny and interesting. First of all, I was shocked at how many people attended these classes, as there were running cocktails and rum at the same time. The distillery tour was quick but explained the whole process and all aspects of creating rum, plus it clarifies why Brix is 'brix', and it is rum but not rum (I won't be a spoiler, just attend the class). Our teacher, Tahlia, was very funny and cover all details about rum, prepared cocktails, ingredients and tools. Drinks themself weren't typical at all, we made mai tai and zombie, refreshing and tasty. The food platter provided during classes was various, perfect for 2 and of very good quality. In general, it was an interesting and worthwhile experience. Moreover, staff all the time walk around all tables, talk with guests and provide some extra info or stories about server drinks and food. Also, I can say that the Brix is the perfect place for... very good burgers, which are different too, compared to most of the places serving burgers.”
