“Very interesting small group workshop on 3D printing. I went from zero knowledge to feeling very engaged in the topic in two hours. Great workshop space. Also suitable for people who have had a go at 3D printing and need more information on practical tips and techniques. Easy parking too even though it is in the Valley. Price point was very reasonable. Probably better suited to adults than children, as there is a fair bit of theory which will interest adults who want to learn about the topic but would probably not fully engage most children. Teenagers would be fine.”
“Jaimyn’s class was what I needed to understand the basics and the equipment needed.
In my previous scientific job, we used 3D printing for some equipment developed and I was very impressed by how the technology has moved so that virtually anyone can use it.
I was surprised that there was no emphasis on how to design pieces as so many things are now available on line.
My only worry was that while the emphasis on chemicals was highlighted, I think Jaimyn underestimated the chemical risks involved.”
“A great overview of 3D printing from the very knowledgeable Jaimyn. It was a very informative workshop and would recommend to anyone interested in 3D printing. It was nice to know the cost of the workshop goes towards helping the charity also.”
“Our instructor (Damon) , was informative had a very structured plan and covered all the Intro to 3D printing that i needed to make a better judgement on what can be accomplished using 3D printer technology.”
“Excellent teacher and content. Jaymen was very informative, knowledgeable and engaging. I learnt quite a lot and I'm excited to have a go at 3D printing now. I feel much more prepared after going to this class.”
“The teacher knew a lot about his subject and was able to scale the lesson to the needs of the people present. I can definitely recommend the event whether you are looking to find the right 3D printer or already have one, but want to know more about its workings.”
