I was given a voucher to this workshop for my birthday, it was very easy use it to book online. Not only were the hosts welcoming when I accidentally arrived over half an hour early, the instructor (Nick) was patient and a very clear communicator. The class itself was challenging, but with practice runs before working with the glass, it was very clear what we needed to do, and above all, safe. I am looking forward to tackling another workshop soon.

I took the plunge and decided to do this class solo. When I arrived I was greeted by Nick the instructor and 2 other classmates. After intros we dove straight into instructions. Nick was thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. All in all it was a great sneak peek into the glass blowing world. I am pleased with how my tumbler and paperweight turned out. Definitely give it a go.

An amazing experience! Nick was a fantastic teacher and the group was wonderful. We each made a tumbler and a paperweight — there was definitely some great teamwork involved. Brilliant workshop, thank you!

This class was brilliant! Nick was amazing and so supportive despite our ‘adult fear of failure’ - we had so many laughs. Even with our (my) brain fart with following instructions, Nick kept us safe and made sure we succeeded in making something unique and memorable. All of our “paper weights” may have turned out more organic and freeform than the demonstration piece, it was an awesome adventure into the process of creation being more rewarding than perfection. We would all do this again!
