“We had such a fun time in this class and learned a great deal about various scents, how they interact with one another, and the fundamentals of creating our own scents. Before this, we never really thought about how many layers go into a fragrance - now we can actually distinguish between top, middle, and base notes! Our teacher made everything super easy to understand and was great at explaining things in a fun and engaging way. We really loved mixing our own perfumes - it felt creative and really personal. Walked away feeling way more confident about scents and with a perfume we actually love!”

“Too much time was spent on the history of perfume, and too little focus on teaching about complimentary combinations ie ”these are common combinations in perfumes, or unusual combinations you may not consider”. Instead this was going in blind into smelling without much direction. The lesson was also poorly timed as we ran significantly over time. Rather than spending 30-40 min talking about history, this is something that could have been done during the smelling part of the lesson.”
