“The class was a lot of fun and we were able to work at our own pace. The variety of tools available to work with the clay was fantastic, and our teacher was really good at the start when outlining key tips for working with clay.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Play with Clay class hosted by Gemma for my sister's hens party at the start of November. She perfectly matched the vibes of the group with the music, the amount of guidance that she gave and the pacing of the class, and was just amazing.
There was a big mix of ages in attendance but everyone loved it and was way more engrossed than I expected them to be - multiple guests said how they found the clay class much more approachable and fun than paint n sips they'd done in the past, so I highly recommend it if you've got a mix of artistic abilities and/or people that don't usually do creative hobbies.
We were able to make one clay item using imprints of a variety of leaves, which all turned out so beautiful, and then Gemma showed us how to mix different colours of clay and how to make 3D sculptures, so everyone had the option of mixing techniques and different designs. The fact that the clay is air dry meant that we were able to take them all with us on the day and leave them in the minibus to dry while we did other activities, but the studio does offer to hold on to them for you if you need, which is really kind.
Being able to bring our own food and drink and store it in their fridge was super helpful and a nice bonus, and the space itself had plenty of room for mingling and socialising while everyone snacked and caught up at the end of the class.
The fact that they provide a link to download all of the photos and videos taken by the host during the class is such a nice feature, too!
