Resin Cheeseboard and Sip Class Reviews

4.7 Rating 23 Reviews
I really enjoyed this class. Even though it was not my first time working with resin, I still managed to learn new ways to use it and general tricks with it. The teacher was really thororugh making the class suitable for beginners as well. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Fun class to do!

Class did not take long and the board was way smaller than pictures seemed.

Wesley was excellent at explaining exactly what we needed to do. It was easy to follow his instructions. We had lots of fun and were very happy with the results of our resin pours.

Teacher was fun and instructions were good. It was great to have some drinks and nibbles first and then lots of fun and concentrating making our boards. Can highly recommend

It was a "ho-hum" kind of experience. The instructor was not an exciting presenter. He knew his spiel, and was very safety conscious, which was excellent, but I didn't feel that creativity was especially encouraged or facilitated. It was very matter-of-fact, just do this, this and this and we're all doing a beach scene cause it is easiest. The sip part of "Resin and sip" was BYO sip, but didn't realise it was BYO till we got to the class, and being a Sunday afternoon most things in the center were closed. No music, excited chatter or laughter accompanied the session, which is indicitative of the atmosphere. I'm sure this would be different if you went with a group of others, but our session was just pairs of people. We were done within an hour. Whilst happy with the board I brought home, it certainly wasn't half resin- half chopping space like the pics... we really only had resin for a narrow band along the board. But it was a relatively inexpensive activity that filled in a Sunday afternoon.

Engaging teacher, happy with the fjnal product and wnjoyed it. A pretty simple technique, whole class could have been 30mins. Putting sip in the title does indicate drinks are available there, which they're not.
