“Great value, really informative and helpful teacher. I brought my friends and they all enjoyed the class. Excited to pick up the final pieces in a few weeks!”
“Booked a pottery session through ClassBento with mates, and unfortunately the experience felt rushed and impersonal. The female teacher with the heavy accent seemed more focused on getting through the class than on actually helping us learn, and while she demonstrated some tools, they were never offered for us to use. When people needed help, she would often just fix things herself instead of explaining how to improve or correct them, which made us feel like the piece wasn't truly ours.
The biggest issue was the turnaround time for our pieces. ClassBento’s description said the pottery would be ready after 5 weeks, but when I messaged at week 7, I was told it still hadn’t even been fired yet. In the end, it took 9 weeks for us to collect our pottery.
I’d recommend looking for another pottery studio or provider that genuinely cares about the art and the learning experience, not just taking your money.”
“my grandson and i had a lot of fun could have done with a bit more time as the class was full and people were late so we had less time to get a crasp of everything”
“The class is very cramped and it felt very dirty. The water buckets from the previous class were used again in the new class, there was clay left behind from previous classes as well.
The hand towel given to dry out hands looked like it wasn’t refreshed for a while, and the aprons were extremely dirty.
I would not recommend.”
