“I recently attended an American BBQ cooking class with Chef Paul, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We used a gift card and had to reschedule a couple of times, but the process was easy and trouble-free, which made everything very convenient.
Because American BBQ is a slow process—some meats like brisket can take 12-20 hours to cook—some of the meats were pre-prepared. Paul did a great job walking us through the entire process, demonstrating the finishing steps, and getting us involved in the hands-on parts. His clear explanations and practical advice on cooking different proteins without expensive equipment made the complex BBQ techniques accessible.
We cooked and ate each course, and the flavors were truly amazing—rich, authentic, and delicious. The atmosphere was fun and insightful, making for a great evening of learning and enjoyment. Overall, it was a very down-to-earth class that left me confident I could recreate these dishes at home.
