“Tried a pottery wheel (clay throwing) class for the first time and it was much harder than it looks! As a complete beginner, I really struggled at the start breaking the clay. Thankfully the instructor was incredibly patient and guided me step by step. With the help, I managed to make two pieces that actually turned out well enough that I’d love to keep them!
It was such a fun and rewarding experience, and I have a whole new appreciation for how much skill goes into pottery. Highly recommend giving it a go if you’re curious - just be prepared to get your hands messy and laugh at your first attempts!”
