“We really enjoyed this class and loved that we had 3x pots each to take home with us. It was so nice to see all participants successfully make pots, thanks to our teacher, Niamh! I do wish that the class was 2 hours long and that the teacher demonstrated ways to add small features. It was also difficult to find the studio, so better directions to entries, lifts and the studio would be helpful. Overall, a really positive experience that I would love to do again.”
“This class was so much fun! It was harder than it looks but the teacher was happy to guide you/help fix things but also to let you make your own mistakes and end up with some interesting creations. Loved that they weren’t stingy with the clay either. Will definitely go again!”
“With no prior pottery wheel experience, attending this class was a step into the unknown. We were walmly welcomed by our teacher, Niamh, who immediately put us at ease by suggesting we keep our expectations low. Good advice!
Niamh's instructions were simple to follow but less easy to put into practice, and our first attempt resulted in something that met our previously lowered expectations. However, with a little one-on-one guidance, efforts two and three actually produced items recognisable as pots.
The 90 minute class is really only sufficient to learn the basics, but it was a fun, enjoyable and a somewhat meditative experience.”
“This class was fantastic! Niamh was an excellent teacher, so talented, friendly and incredibly patient! My whole family had the best time, and we are very pleased with our creations!”
“We had an amazing session, and our teacher Neve was the best. Explained and demonstrated everything really well and was very patient with us. We’ve both brought home some beautiful little handmade bowls for the kids to decorate”
“Friendly welcoming staff and very a relaxed vibe. We all came away with a few handmade small pots and we're inspired to take further classes. Many thanks for a great afternoon.”
