“Messy, fun and creative. Instructor Neve was lovely and helpful. Definately a learn as you go experience and everyone made something to be proud of at the end. Looking forward to going back and glazing my creations.”
“Excellent class! The teacher was very attentive and the group was small so we all received lots of support to make some lovely clay ware on the wheel. The instructions were clear with good modeling of the techniques to observe and then try. We will be back to paint our pottery that will make gifts.”
“As trying pottery for the very first time with my friends, I don’t think I received enough support from the teacher compared to my friends. I felt like I was being ignored everytime I asked her for help. Could she be annoyed by me because I messed up the first bowl I was trying to make, maybe?
I asked her second time to help me save my bowl and she just said use a new clay, whereas my friend helped me to make a small bowl out of the SAME CLAY. She was also passing snarky comments throughout the class.
Maybe people of colour are not her favourite students but that shouldn’t be anyone’s experience for someone trying something for the first time.
I didn’t feel like I got the value out of my $99 since I was being ignored everytime.”
“Went with my mum, neither of us had any expirence at all with it. But our instructor Niamh was amazing. Super patient and kind, and very talented. Very helpful to the group when needed. Would definitely love to do a class with her again soon!”
“My mum and I were trying wheel throwing for the first time so were a bit nervous but it was so fun and the guidance really helpful, we both made things we were proud of and would be keen to do more. The venue is really nice and easy to find.”
“What a great way to spend an afternoon learning new skills. The class was fun and the teachers were fabulous, full of knowledge and keen to teach us. I had such a good time and will be back for another class.”
