“I recently attended the wonton and dumpling class with two friends and we loved it. Our teacher, Natasha made the whole experience enjoyable and fun. She shared tips on how to season food, recommended her tried-and-tested sauces and ingredients and shared stories about her food experiences. Natasha taught us different methods to wrap wontons and dumplings so you get to choose the best method for yourself. The food we made was delicious and I recommend attending the class on an empty stomach because there's lots of food to eat. I rate this class highly and would definitely attend her other classes.”
“Natasha had good knowledge of flavours and techniques and was a good teacher but the class was not what I was expecting. Venue was very odd in that it seemed to be a small shop with no food preparation or cooking facilities or proper place to wash food prep items. Bowls used by other participants were rinsed in a small sink before being used again by others and the whole experience felt a little unhygienic. You’re not actually cooking or preparing the dumplings, you are learning to wrap them. And then everyone’s dumplings go together in a big pot so you’re not actually getting the food that you have made. It would have been good to have printed recipes with the ingredients so that you could follow along while Natasha mixed up the fillings. All in all it was a pleasant evening and I liked Natasha but I would find it difficult to say it was value for money.”
