Knife Sharpening Class - Beginner to Intermediate Reviews

Very good. I learned stuff about knives I never knew and feel confident in my basic sharpening skills. I would probably join a woodworking too sharpening class if there was one.

Great class. Nari is a great teacher’ he helps you navigate common pitfalls of sharpening, as well as how to avoid spending unnecessary money on items not needed by most home sharpeners. The small class size allows him to give individual attention and tips on technique while he builds a great rapport with the class. Having the class on a Sunday morning is great for a person like me who often works 6 days a week. A great way to spend a few hours learning and a lifetime practicing a new skill.

Do you use knives in your kitchen? Then you need to do this course. We are used to preparing food with blunt knives or replacing them. We learnt how to sharpen all of our knives competently and confidently. Nari is a patient, kind and clever teacher who ensures you leave knowing what youre doing. You have enough time to sharpen several knives so you feel very clever by the time you leave, and ready to cook! Every home cook needs this skill. Worth every cent. For the price of a new knife you can keep your old one forever!

Small group size and excellent instruction on the course. It wasn't all about practice; there was a theory element as well that adds to the confidence that you gain about your new knife-sharpening techniques. Just being able to visit Nari's amazing showroom was a bonus! Great course; highly recommended
