Thanks Carol ! I was lucky to be the only person - so Carol and I got to chat and I got to learn at the same time. After some home practice I hope to go back for another lesson with a project idea. Location was great too, easy to get to and park.

Carol is a fantastic teacher! She’s knowledgeable, approachable, and answers all questions thoroughly. When I made a mistake, she explained the cause, what to do instead, and suggested I keep the mistake in place for future reference. I appreciated her patience and clear explanations.

Carol was a wonderful teacher, very patient, thorough and lovely to chat with. We worked on basic stitches and single/double stitches. Carol provided everything needed for the lesson, which really took the pressure off to buy the right materials. It was a really intimate workshop with just my friend and I, plus Carol, which I really appreciated. The whole experience was really wonderful, and I've left with a new skill that I want to work on.

Carol is so patient and had no issues going over things (continually). She is so experienced having mastered the craft but still able to explain the basics at an understandable pace. The session included how to properly hold the yarn and hook to allow for fluid stitching and get a feel for tension, how to start with a slip knot, make a chain and then begin a ring. Carol used examples of her own work to explain the stitches and different shapes that can be formed. I found that watching Carol and her methods was more helpful than a video, and I look forward to practicing the basics a bit more to be able to get to the next stage with my own projects. I highly recommend a session with Carol if you're an absolute beginner.
