“Carol is so patient and had no issues going over things (continually). She is so experienced having mastered the craft but still able to explain the basics at an understandable pace. The session included how to properly hold the yarn and hook to allow for fluid stitching and get a feel for tension, how to start with a slip knot, make a chain and then begin a ring. Carol used examples of her own work to explain the stitches and different shapes that can be formed. I found that watching Carol and her methods was more helpful than a video, and I look forward to practicing the basics a bit more to be able to get to the next stage with my own projects. I highly recommend a session with Carol if you're an absolute beginner.”
