My partner and I recently did Otao Kitchen’s Asian Street Food Cooking Class and absolutely loved it! The class was focused on Japanese dishes - we made rice pockets with salmon, agedashi tofu, okonomiyaki and enoki mushrooms wrapped in beef - and every dish was absolutely worth the effort. The portion sizes were also very generous, and we came home with full bellies and lots of leftovers. Our teacher, Anan, was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining what we needed to do and why - even for prep that he’d already done (i.e making rice), for our future reference. We also received copies of all recipes at the end of the class, so I definitely feel that the course was worth it in terms of ensuring longevity of what we learned. Thank you so much to ClassBento and Otao Kitchen for this class. We had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to add a touch of Japanese to our future dish rotation!

Dylan was great. Really enjoyed the evening and the food was amazing. Will book another event in the future for sure! They catered to our gluten allergy without any issue so strongly recommended for that. Thanks for a great evening!

A great class to do on your own or with friends. Our teacher Anan was friendly, knowlegeable and helpful, providing many great tips for our Japanese cooking experience. Lovely way to spend an evening. There was almost too much food we had to take some home :)
