“Basak was friendly and helpful. She helped us when we had a few little hiccups and our candle holders turned out really well. We had lovely apple tea and Turkish delight to help us enjoy the experience as well. We would love to come back and try another class!”
“We did not have a good experience. There were different classes happening at the same space, and no dedication from the instructor to our Turkish lamp mosaic. We had to call the instructor many times to ask questions as no detailed instructions were provided. The expectation was to leave the class with our Turkish lamp ready to be used, but instead we left the class with a semi lamp to be finished at home as per instructed by the instructor at the end of the course. Very disappointing”
“A group of seventeen ladies travelled from Inala to attend the Turkish Candle Holder Workshop. The room was vibrant and full of colourful Turkish lamps and other crafty projects. We were warmly greeted by Basak and settled into creating our mosaic project. The process was explained clearly and everyone relaxed as some moody, groovy music played in the background. It was a wonderful time of chatter and friendship as the ladies shared ideas and encouraged one another. It was both inspirational and calming to the soul. We were thrilled with our final masterpieces and everyone said they were keen to return next year to tackle another mosaic project. The sweer 'turkish delight' was also delicious, a wonderful day out. Thank you Basak and Lara.”
“This was great fun, being able to be in the moment and be creative was wonderful. We all had a great time. The teacher was lovely and created a wonderful atmosphere.”
