I’d sent my artwork in the day before and it was drawn on the canvas when I arrived.
After a quick lesson in how to use the tufting gun I was on my own to get on with it.
Help was always at hand if needed but the key is just to do it.
By the time I’d completed my 40x40cm effort I was more confident and capable with the tufting gun.
I was lucky there were no classes following mine, so I had an extra hour to complete my piece.
My advice is do something simple with large areas of colour.
There is a cafe just down the road which serves decent coffee.”
