“Whilst I really enjoyed painting my dog, I didn’t find the class very helpful or instructive, I found my teacher more occupied with her own canvas than in helping the class…I found the equipment provided very limited, and in not great condition.
If you are a beginner, I don’t think this is the class for you! I found we were pretty much left on our own to paint from our photos. Honestly? I can do that at home, I don’t need to travel for an hour or pay for it!
I think for this class to be beneficial you need good knowledge of painting techniques, colour mixing, shading, form etc.
I don’t know if I’d do it again or recommend to people who’ve not painted before.
I do think this class would likely be a good fit for people with some skill and confidence.”
“It was a lovely experience having a family birthday celebration there. Katherine was welcoming and encouraging and it’s just a lovely way to spend an evening together. Lots of fun. We ordered food in and brought our own drinks and it all worked really well. Thank you Katherine!”
“Katherine was so lovely and helpful! The predawn sketches on the canvas were great to start with and guide the painting process. I got to take two of my darling home!”
“Our tutor Jack was amazing! He could not have been more helpful or supportive. He made it a lovely experience, and even carried my friend’s walker up and down a staircase. Thank you, Jack!”
“Our teacher Kay was the best! We did the paint your pet class and thoroughly enjoyed it! We were all really happy with our paintings and appreciated Kay’s help to perfect out paintings.”
