We came in as total beginners with zero metalworking experience, just hoping to do something a bit adventurous together, and we were completely blown away by how much fun we had, and how much we learned in two hours!
Ron is an incredible teacher - warm, funny, patient, and genuinely passionate about his craft. He made us feel totally at ease in the forge, and struck the perfect balance between hands-on guidance and letting us experiment. I asked a million questions, and he answered them all with such patience, thoughtfulness, and generosity. He even shared a super-secret finishing technique with us (we’re sworn to secrecy, of course!), which totally sealed our loyalty for life!
As the only couple booked in the workshop, we enjoyed a super chill and personal session, filled with laughter and great conversation. We never felt rushed, and Ron's support through each step of the process gave us the confidence to actually make something with our own hands!
My partner made a pennanular cloak pin, and I made a troll cross pendant, and we are both so delighted with how they turned out.
