Carven is an expert on coffee and a great communicator. She did especially well in the early part of the workshop competing with the sounds of the cafe below.

The Barista Basic Workshop is a fantastic introduction to the art of coffee making. The course covers essential skills such as espresso extraction, milk frothing, and basic latte art. The instructor is knowledgeable and passionate, making the learning experience both enjoyable and informative. With hands-on practice and personalized feedback, participants leave with a solid foundation to create café-quality beverages at home. Highly recommended for coffee enthusiasts looking to elevate their brewing skills!

I definitely recommend this class. I did it because we are about to get a good home machine and I wanted to learn how to make a great cup of coffee. Amazing instructor, Hannah, very knowledgeable and helpful. I thought 5 hrs was going to be too long, but it wasn't long enough! We had so much fun making the coffee shots and tasting them to see if they were better or worse. I really enjoyed the theory behind why the coffee can taste bad and they applying it to my technique. Great set up, you get your own station to practise. FYI, if you can't drink normal milk BYO. They don't provide alternative milk. However, you don't really drink much coffee with milk anyway. You more use the milk in the second half to learn how to froth it properly and how to pour to make caps or flat whites ect. I would totally do it again. A nice different activity to do with friends or a partner.

I joined the barista class today and had a really good time. You will need a lot of practice to become a really good barista, but it was nice to understand a little about coffee and also make various types of coffee yourself. If anyone is trying to learn coffee for the first time, I think it would be nice to challenge anyone.
