“Decent value for the money!
Pros:
1. Very hands-on. You practice the main 4 types of coffee (espresso, cappuccino, latte and flat white) many times.
2. Location is very good - right off flinders station!
Cons:
1. Inexperienced teacher - she was very pleasant and tried her best, however it would be great to have someone who knows coffee extensively or with significant experience as a Barista
2. Would have been nice to have a take away material of everything covered in the course. They provide you an A4 sheet that gives the recipe for various coffee, however a detailed guide would have been nice.”
“The teacher was very kind and patient. Gave direct instructions, created the perfect environment to be able to make mistakes in and improve. Presentation and sheet given to us were very informative”
“The class was an amazing experience! The teacher taught us how to make different style of coffee such latte, cappucino, flat white and espresso shot. She gave us detailed and clear instructions for us to follow, and in such a short time I was able to learn so much about using a cafe style coffee machine. She also got us to be involved as much as possible in the lesson which allowed the lesson to be less awkward especially since you are going into a class with complete strangers that also have a passion for making coffee.”
“The teacher was helpful, positive and knowledgeable. I learnt so much and will be able to use my new skills with confidence. The course was very hands on which was great.”
“Carlos was a great teacher! He was able to provide a good overview on how to make espressos and steam milk. I loved how he tailored it's based on everyone's skill level and wants. (I.e. job vs hobby) Overall, a great class to learn the foundations”
