“Phenomenal class, and delivers on its promise. From beginner level machine operation to walking out with a completed project, it was fantastic. Jo was a thoughtful, kind, patient and super helpful teacher. She attended to every problem and helped guide eveyone through whatever they needed to get the project done. As a male learning to sew, there are few places in Melbourne that will take you on or the course content doesn't suit. From that respect, this course was wonderful and I'd highly recommend it.”
“Gaye creates a super friendly vibe in the room and all other participants were helpful and supportive! I loved that you bring home your own bag - makes learning so much more fun. Personally, I think the class was a bit rushed though and you really had to learn quick and work quick in order to get everything done in the short time we had. I would recommend extending the class to 6h to ensure more time to learn terms of the machine, go through the steps thoroughly and allow time to make mistakes without being completely behind everyone else and having to rush in the end. At some point I lost track of the different steps, didn’t have enough time to write things down, and Gaye did certain steps for me as we were short of time. I wish there would have been more time to not rush through it and I hope this feedback can be taken on for the next classes :)”
“As an absolute beginner, I thoroughly enjoyed this class. Gaye is an excellent teacher and I learned heaps in one day. Can't wait to take a follow up class!”
“So much fun!
I went in knowing nothing and came out with a wry funky bag and feel confident in my new skills!
I’ve already booked in for another workshop!
Jo was a fantastic teacher, so patient and kind!
I can’t wait to go back!”
