Beginners Wheel Throwing Workshop Reviews

4.9 Rating 290 Reviews
Great class and a perfect birthday present gift! Loved the ability to use as much clay as possible if you cooked your first pieces, and excess clay went back into free recycled studio clay for others to use later. 100% would recommend this class for beginners! The only recommendation I have for left-handers is to tell your teacher if you don't feel comfortable with your hands and everything feels backwards, so that they can switch the wheel rotation. It can make such a difference!

Love love loved! Our class with Lorelai was so fun. Lorelai was helpful, supportive, and a joy to learn from. All of us left having made something we were happy with and agreeing we would love to come back again.

Our teacher was lovely and clear in sharing not only what to do but how to do it, helped us each just enough. A fun, relaxing, enjoyable afternoon and inspiration to do more. She’s a very good potter too!

My wife and I honestly left the class on such a high, Georgia was a blast to have as a teacher and really let us do our own thing while guiding us through our mistakes but having a laugh at the same time, couldn’t recommend this place enough and this is definitely not the last time we go!

Had never done pottery before and was a great introduction to it. Instruction and demonstration was easy to follow and facilitator was helpful and knowledgable. Only minor complaint was that the session ended 10-15mins earlier than (1hr 45min experience vs 2hrs as listed) and you clean your own station and equipment used
