“We both enjoyed our time creating our textured art pieces. The space was fun and comfortable! I liked that the workshop was held as a small group – Lily often checked in with everyone and guided each person to their needs individually. Highly recommend if you would like to try something new! :)”
“Great fun, very casual setting and good for either group or singles. Instructors were very friendly and supportive, but allowed free creativity. Would highly recommend”
“I loved the Acrylic Textured Art workshop. My teacher was informative, patient and very helpful. I was warmly welcomed and felt relaxed fromthe time I walked in. ClassBento is a beautiful space with so much to offer. I look forward to doung more art pieces at ClassBento”
“I thoroughly enjoyed this class. I have never painted before, and am not in the slightest bit artist inclined, I just enjoy doing quirky things for fun.
My tips for a better experience if you're a true beginner like me is have a pre-drawn image of what you want to paint with you for the class as you will need the full 2 hrs for painting. The teachers are lovely, so kind and helpful, and give you great tips but their attention is scarce as the class is popular and full (a good thing for the school) and they have many people of varying skill sets and needs to divide their time among. I imagined the class would be instructional, like a school room, where the teacher talks everyone through the steps at the same time. This is more autonomous - you sit and wait till they walk past you and you tag them down to ask for individual instructions. I suppose this allows people with experience to just get on with it at a faster pace. I was the last to leave, I feel this is because I was a true beginner and on my own.
I took glitter with me and was allowed to use it on my painting, handy tip for those who love sparkles like me.
Highly recommend this class, it was really interesting, fun, and the room itself is a positive and cheery environment to let your creative side flow.”
