“As this was a beginner class I think the teacher could have perhaps done a demo of how to work with a wheel. There were pdf instructions and a short verbal explanation at the start but then we felt a bit left in the dark.
It was however still a fun day out.”
“The experience was not enjoyable. The teacher didn’t explain things well and wanted to do everything herself, preventing us from experimenting. From the moment we arrived, she mentioned she was tired and hungry. The class was from 6 to 8, but by 6:30, she already wanted to finish. We told her we wanted to make another ceramic piece since we still had time, and we ended up finishing at 7:15. The rest of the time was spent cleaning. She even took out the trash while we were still there. She was in such a hurry to leave. She got stressed when we made mistakes, and her English wasn’t very clear. My friend and I had to leave our sculptures there because she didn’t have boxes or bags for us to take them home. I just came to pick them up, and one of them is destroyed. It’s clear they tried to fix it because you can see a piece of clay stuck on top. Very disappointing! Terrible experience. My friends and I DO NOT recommend this place.”
“I went for my first pottery class today taught by Emily and it was so lovely! She is so informative and helpful and she created such a chill space for us to work our creativity. Loved the class and will definitely recommend it to friends xx”
“We really enjoyed this class. The studio was calming with a cute set up and the teacher was fun & super supportive throughout the workshop. It left me wanting to do another pottery class!”
“I bought this experience as a belated Christmas gift for me and my partner. We had a lovely time and our teacher Emily was a kind and fantastic teacher and really easy to learn from. Even if you messed up your piece, Emily was right there to help fix it without making you feel silly. The location is also really cute and easy to access. Would highly recommend this experience to those who want to try something new with partners, friends and family.”
