“We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Karri and the ponies! Karri was an incredible teacher—she answered every question our participants asked and showed so much patience, understanding, and kindness throughout the entire visit. She was very mindful of everyone’s comfort levels and never pushed any of our participants beyond what they felt ready for, which made the experience feel safe and enjoyable for all.
Our participants with disabilities truly loved the opportunity to interact with the ponies. Lorien, Lunar, Loki, Tin Tin, and Timmie were all so gentle, calm, and friendly. It was beautiful to see the connections being made. Two of our participants were quite unsure of the ponies at first, but by the time we left they had completely fallen in love with them!
It was such a positive, inclusive, and memorable experience for everyone involved. We would highly recommend this program and are very grateful for the care and effort Karri puts into making it so special.”
“I had a wonderful time doing the Pony Friendship Workshop. It was such a fun, joyful experience getting to know the ponies and their personalities throughout the session. My friend and I started in a pen with 5 ponies and were able to steer them around the farm on a short walk as well as learn how to do some tricks with them. Karrie was a wonderful instructor and very kind and informative. She made us feel very safe and secure around the ponies and showed us everything we needed in order to handle them with care. We would definitely reccomend this experience if you are a horse or animal lover!”
“Karri is a great teacher, and she knows her horses well. We did a safety introduction+ how to first, then had a chance to introduce ourselves to the ponies and groom them. We did a walk and agility courses which were so fun! We also got to hose them off because it was a hot day.The ponies are very well trained and it was a great experience overall.”
