Kaye was a delightful and thorough teacher. This was a perfect class for our volunteers to experience together and we enjoyed the samples of delicious treats you can make using Kayes methods as well as the incredible lunch. I will definately be looking for more workshops to attend with Kaye. Thank you Kaye!

Buyer beware: you might just come away with a new hobby and burning desire to get a pressure canner. This was a fantastic, hands on workshop to start learning the basics of water bathing and pressure canning. Kaye, the teacher, was enthusiastic and warm with plenty of knowledge from her experience preserving to share. Each participant was able to complete each part of the process, enabling us to grow confident in handling the equipment. She also provided us with wonderful resource to start our own journey - including recipes, cook book and equipment recommendations, with a set of jars to boot! There was a delicious spread of home preserved food including kale and sweet potato chips, Mexican dehydrated seed crackers and dip with a delicious side of pears. Lunch was also assembled in minutes, a Thai green chicken curry with a vegan bean mix, demonstrating the versatility of canned produce, including meat. I highly recommend attending this class, if you have even an inclining of interest or a home garden with too many tomatoes! I will be checking out the other workshops available and putting them in my calendar.

Absolutely wonderful. First Kaye was warm and inviting and her knowledge very comprehensive. The class moved at a comfortable pace Lunch and nibbles were yummy and used produce previously canned. I feel inspired to give it a go and now have a comprehensive understanding of the necessary food safety processes. Thank you Kaye
