It was awesome! It was my second class, I learnt a second method of making a mug. Such a lovely and intimate creative space. Can’t wait for my pet portrait class…

The class was very thorough when teaching the different techniques and we made some very cute pieces which we can’t wait to pick up! I spent too long making my trinket tray so I didn’t get so much time to paint which is a shame. Best to stick to basic shapes for the class to paint as much as you like

My friend and I loved this class. Our teacher, Shane, showed us the main techniques for hand building, which we could then apply to make whatever we wanted. There were heaps of other pieces in the room, which were helpful to browse for inspiration as well. We received plenty of assistance along the way, to help us construct carefully and achieve the look we were after. I can't wait to pick up my spoon rest in six weeks once it's been fired!
