“I recently attended a Turkish Mosaic lamp-making class, gifted to me as a birthday present from a friend, and it was hands down the best gift I could have received! The class offered a wonderful blend of creativity and relaxation, making it an experience I highly recommend to anyone.
One of the things I loved most was the hands-on approach. It was incredibly satisfying to see how a collection of materials—mosaic tiles, beads, and glass pieces—transformed into a uniquely beautiful lamp. The variety of colors and patterns available really allowed for personal expression, and I was thrilled with how my lamp turned out.
I attended the class with someone special, and the experience was even more enjoyable because we shared it together. His design ended up being the most beautiful in the class, and it was so much fun seeing both our visions come to life side by side.
The instructor was fantastic—patient and knowledgeable, guiding us through each step without ever rushing. He encouraged creativity while making sure we understood the techniques involved, which kept the class both engaging and relaxing. The venue itself had a cozy atmosphere, and with soothing Turkish music playing in the background, it felt like the perfect setting for such a creative activity.
We learned how to arrange the tiles and beads to create intricate designs on the lamp base, as well as the methods to secure them properly. It was fascinating to work with these traditional materials, and I left the class with not only a beautiful handmade lamp but also a deeper appreciation for the craft.
For the price, the class was absolutely worth it. I wouldn’t hesitate to take it again, perhaps trying out a different design next time. The entire experience left me with lasting memories, and I couldn’t be more grateful to my friend for gifting me such a unique and thoughtful birthday present!”
“The lamp class was one of the best classes I have attended. The instructors were very clear and very helpful. They were also very understanding when my grandson who has ADHD was struggling a bit with the distractions of the class environment and allowed us to finish our lamps in a quiet space. As a result we completed a beautiful lamp each and created lasting memories together as grandfather and grandson.”
