My rug needed quite a bit of help at the end & thanks to Jess it was a better outcome than I would have achieved alone!
My only problem was the dye of the dark green yarn discoloured the cream yarn. I wasn’t aware that it wasn’t a good idea to pass my hands through the two colours as I shaved & trimmed. Jess did indicate that my tufting gun had made the length of fibre difficulty to manage in the final steps.
It was a great activity with friends.

“Myself and 3 friends visited the studio on Saturday 1st of Feb for my birthday which was a couple of days before, we had so much fun! The instructors were so helpful teaching us how to Tuft shave and shape the rugs! They were so patient and kind as well as I ran behind time highly recommend giving this class a go!! “The teachers were all very helpful, they started with safety tips and gave us all the basics. The class was full but the ratio of teachers to students was great, I always had help when I needed it. I made a medium size rug, tufting, shaping and shaving. It was really fun, and my favourite part was learning to use the tufting gun and tufting the rug.”
“The class was great! All the instructors were very mindful of our work providing tips and info as we were working on the rug. The time did go very quick so it's best to make colour decisions quickly and get right into it.”
