“We had the Japanese cooking class. Although we enjoyed it and really enjoyed the food, the class did however seem a bit disorganised and at points seemed too rushed.”
“I found it an energetic approach to preparing a Japanese meal for 18 people. I imagine it was an insight into how a commercial kitchen operates under pressure. I suppose I had expected (or hoped for) a more meditative approach with more focus on individual technique and the philosophy behind Japanese cuisine. But that may not be what others are looking for.
