“Our Kokedama class was fantastic in Docklands. Our teacher was very warm and went above and beyond informing us and answering questions about the construction and care for the plants. Her place is a relaxing environment and Rashmin was very helpful and supportive. She has set up a cafe workshop with market items for sale too.”
“We had such an amazing morning making Kokedama’s.
We felt welcome from the time we walked in and left with not only a beautiful kokedama but so much knowledge as well.
I can’t recommend trying this enough. We will be going back to do more classes with them.”
“Rashmi and her husband are newly weds who run a quaint little café that faces the Docklands library. She facilitates many creative workshops while serving a barista coffee or a tasty bagel. You get both coming to her workshop. Adorned with plants that she has propagated over time, we build our kokedamas from peat moss, coconut husk, perlite, garden soil, cotton threads and jute twine to wrap it all together. She’s very expressive in delivering the instructions and her love for plants is unmistakable. Hand knitted cosies to take home as well. Very cute activity. Gloves and apron provided.”
“Was a lovely experience, fun to make and the teacher was super helpful! Gave great advice on how to make them yourself and on general plant care. The cafe is so cute and the handmade goods there are great to shop around after your class”
“Rashmi was lovely. Very personable and friendly. Her guidance and assistance in the class was excellent and gave tips on maintaining our plants . Her partner was engaging as well. It made for a lovely couple of hours and to top it off the Bagel was delicious. We are looking forward to finding another course with her.”
“Thanks so much to Rashmi for having us!! It was a great birthday gift for my friend and I to do and we had the best time. The bagel was delicious, the coffee was amazing and lastly Rashmi is a very nice helpful teacher that guided us making our first kokedama. I would recommend it if you are thinking about it or you are plant lover. The art cafe is worth a visit and the class was an amazing bonus and experience. We are looking forward to our next visit.”
