“I had a great time at the class and learnt a lot from Rashmi. She was patient, knowledgeable and encouraging of all participants. As a young teen attending on my own, I was a little apprehensive but Rashmi made me feel instantly at ease. We got to make two complete sets of earrings and I made additional pieces to bring home and finish off by myself.”
“Our teacher was next to us for every step in the process. Participants select a straight forward design and a more elaborate design from the earring display with the purpose of copying each. We did select our own colour palates and we were guided step-by-step through the earring making process. During the time when our earrings were being baked, a lovely gentleman made as a hot drink of our choice and we ate a mini bagel. A nice touch! Once the baking process was finished our teacher drilled the holes in our earring pieces and helped us assemble them. I came away with two lovely pairs of earrings. Thank you.”

“What an excellent class! My mum and I had the best time ever. Rashmi was so knowledgeable, patient and welcoming. She walked us through the whole process and demonstrated all the techniques. What I really appreciated was that she made it a completely safe space. She would step in if she felt like we needed help, stepped away every now and then so we didn't have the pressure of someone always watching over us, and offered us supportive feedback on our earrings.
The 2 things I appreciated the most was her willingness to share her craft. She offered us a lot of advice on how to make our own polymer earrings at home (e.g what kind of clay to use, tips on how to bake it at home, where to get the materials, etc). Secondly, she was incredibly generous. I came to this class expecting to make 2 pairs of earrings per person (which is what is advertised for this lesson), but we left with a whole lot more. We had some leftover clay, and she let us cut out some extra shapes using it for us to take home. She even drilled holes in all of the extra pieces we made.
Plus, she also runs the cafe and the bagels and matcha latte are delicious. 100% recommend this class to anyone! We'll definitely be back! Thank you Rashmi for hosting such a lovely class. We can't wait to see you again next time!”
