“Lots of fun, it was only the 3 of us so was much easier talking with the teacher and her showing us each step.
Set up at the studio could have been a bit clearer, there was lots of stuff around (yes it was art supplies and other works) but it felt almost messy. When we had to wash our hands after using the clay there was no paper towel and an unclean basin to wash our hands in.
Would I personally do it again, no but I would happily buy this as a gift for someone to experience.”
“The actual pottery was fun, but we don't feel that we learned anything and would have preferred getting taught actual techniques, rather than spend half the time painting our creations. We didn't sign up for a painting class.”
“I think the whole process was honestly really fantastic!! I came into it with genuinely no background, knowledge or talent in pottery so I was incredibly nervous! The instructor we had, Tracey, was so delightful, easy-going, and took us through each step slowly and delicately.
She was incredibly patient, even when my structure cracked, twice and that was incredibly helpful. As well as the instructor, the two hour process was perfectly timed. It allowed time to take the actual making of the bowl/whatever you make slowly whilst leaving time for decorating. The booking process was also easy, which I did with a gift card. Having a simple code was quick and stress-free.
Ultimately, I would definitely recommend and will 100% be going back! Its a really fun idea with either friends or a good date idea. I would honestly say it could be the ideal first date plan.”
“Class was excellent, great instruction too, easy to follow, not as easy to do ! lol but all seemed to have a great experience & would recommend this activity. Didn’t really have high expectations on finished result we just wanted to try a new experience but feel what we made came out well. Plenty of time to have a good experience as well.”
“our teacher was very helpful, talked through the steps and demonstrated the step before we did it. we made bowls and cups. i liked making the cup, i might need to learn how to decorate better.”
