“My teacher today for the Glass Lamp Painting Workshop was Queenie. After I chose a design from a large collection of other patterns, I started outlining it with paint and then filling the shapes with different colours. Queenie helped me mix the paints to get the shades I wanted. This is a new experience for me, as it's my first time painting on glass. It was harder than I initially thought. But the result looked great, and that's all that really matters, I guess. I left it in the studio to dry, so I'm really looking forward to what my lamp will look like when I bring it home!”
