“It would habe been nice if our teacher taught us some methods of clay work at the beginning so we could get an idea of what it was that we would of liked to of made. As a beginner, I would of liked some techniques shown. Instead we were just told to find something that we would like tk make and then he would show us how. However we are beginners and did not know where to start. In the end we made something nice but we really wanted to learn more about pottery and techniques. It was not very structure for beginners to learn.”
“Fantastic afternoon! We had such a blast hand making pottery for our TAFE class graduation. The teachers helped a lot with ideas of what to make, the best techniques to use and were overall very friendly.”
“Really amazing night. Trust the process. Nicole was really helpful and encouraging. Never worked with clay before, so quite happy with my work. Super chill and relaxing.”
“I was fortunate enough to be the only one doing my class. The teacher was encouraging but not big on giving an ideas. I was sort of pleased with my piece.”
“The teacher was a young man who spoke only a handful of words to us. He gave us no instruction but did offer to help if we needed it. He wasn’t in the room for 95% of the session so if you did need help you’d have to go and find him. We didn’t start the session with everything we needed and only had a few tools between 4 of us so we had to ask for tools to sculpt the clay. Disappointed but still had a fun time making clay items.”
“It was a fun school holiday activity for a 9 year old with gran - the teacher was very helpful with techniques and how to fix issues. We are looking forward to seeing the final product once it’s fired.
Thanks for a lovely 2 hours.”
“Really fun! This was my first experience doing pottery & I wanted to make a little sushi set for at home. I got excellent guidance & tips, the teacher was very helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to pick up my pieces in a few weeks :)”
