“Have just completed BookBinding Workshop at Zetta Florence - loved it! Am taking home a beautiful handmade book to journal in. Belinda knows her craft and shared her well-honed skills whilst ensuring everyone finished with a book they loved. Thankyou Belinda, Charlotte and Rebecca”
“The class was wonderful. The instructor was kind and the vibes were peaceful and fun. It was a great way to spend a few hours haning out with friends and learning a new skill.”
“The teacher was so lovely and helped us whenever we got stuck. She was so experienced and full of information. I would definitely do another class like this again! I loved that we got to pick what paper we wanted to use for our books and the way the teacher explained everything in depth. She also gave us a lot of resources so that we could continue making books in our own time. 100% would recommend.”
“I really enjoyed this class. It was so nice to be able to just walk in and have everything set up and ready to go. I loved being able to choose my own paper, I went with a handmade paper that had a bit of texture to it.
Learning how to make my own book was a great experience. I appreciated all the little tips and bits of information shared along the way (like what stations and signatures are) and other cool bookbinding terms. It was fascinating to hear about the history behind the process from someone clearly so knowledgeable and passionate about it.
The space itself was beautiful and added to the whole experience. A really aesthetic, calming spot to sit and create something. Thanks so much. I had a fantastic time.”
“Alisa was a wonderful teacher who was very friendly and managed the different work paces well.
The choice of papers available at Zetta was superb and varied enough that you truly feel as though your book is unique.”
“The teacher was fantastic, the class was fun, only wished we had more time though, the last of it felt a bit rushed. Thoroughly enjoyed the class, though! We were taught how to fold the signatures, how to stitch the signatures together, gluing the spine and front pages as well as making a hard cover. The materials provided were fantastic and I enjoyed the snack available too.”
“This was a last minute decision to attend and I am so glad that I did! The instructor was terrific and the workshop setting was lovely in Zeta. Our instructor was very helpful at breaking down the steps, supported by a written out step by step guide. She even had custom made guides to help ensure all the cuts were perfect for our journal! Highly recommend as a fun few crafting hours.”
