After a bit of theory and explanation how to make an exceptional coffee including what not to do and common mistakes. He even showed us how to do machine maintenance and cleaning which is crucial for a commercial setting. The best part was plenty of practice with all different types of milk types and different styles of coffee. He even showed us how to make a magic. Absolutely brilliant for even the home want to be barista you would not be disappointed. Even a tip on how to make an awesome long black pictured below.”

“I tried the Barista class as a challenge for myself and I found that I thoroughly enjoyed it. As there was only two of us on the day, the class was more interactive and we were able to practise a lot.
Carlos was also very knowledgeable about the coffee scene in Melbourne (we also even had handouts with exact measurements). I found the class to be very structured but also had room for practice and trial and error which I appreciate when learning something new.
I also really appreciated Carlos’ helpful nature and loved Nala (Carlos’ dog)! It was a great time and I would take another class! Would recommend to any aspiring baristas or if you just want to learn something new (the certificates are also a nice touch!)”
