My son and I had a most enjoyable afternoon learning to create a beautiful artwork combining painting and fused glass. Our teacher was very informative, and patiently guided us through the process. We would highly recommend this activity to everyone. The attached studio/gallery is beautiful.

We had the most amazing class at Camdal Atelier over the weekend. I booked a private class for my partners birthday and she had the best time. Ekim was so knowledgeable and very passionate about all styles of glass art it was so fascinating to listen to. It was quite a relaxing class and I had so much fun painting my own design. We can’t wait to do more classes with Camdal Atelier when they become available. It’s a new venue but I highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique art class in Melbourne. I look forward to picking up my piece when it’s ready. Thanks so much again for a great class Ekim!

I was fortunate enough to be the only particpant on the date I attended, so had individual attention, which was a treat! Ekim was very welcoming and showed me around the studio, including many examples of the type of project I would be doing (as well as a lot of the other gorgeous work she has done). Ekim explained the project thoroughly and assisted when needed with design, colour choice etc. The time flew by and my project is now drying, ready to be fired in the kiln - I can't wait to collect it next week! This is a lovely, relaxing class in a beautiful, inspiring studio. You won't be disappointed if you try it out.

The class was very enjoyable and fun! The time seemed to fly by even in times we needed to wait until the paint dried! The teachers were amazing and so helpful. I found out have zero talent when it comes to drawing/painting and we came up with an idea to try that meant I wouldn’t need to try using a paint brush to draw (it did mean I didn’t use any of the stencils made that were absolutely gorgeous though!). I am VERY excited to see how it turns out! Loved hearing about the history of the gallery and business and seeing all the different pieces (including those being worked on currently). Was super easy to book using a gift card with the number of sessions available to choose from. I definitely recommend a visit and trying a class - might need to practice my lines so I can try one of the beautiful stencils next time! No photos at the moment as the piece hasn’t been fired yet but hopefully I’ll be able to add them later on.
