I really enjoyed this class. The teacher was very knowledgeable and it was great fun! We ended up with a starter and dough to bake two loaves at home! Thank you so much!!!

I attended the Sourdough class last Saturday afternoon with teacher Fei & really enjoyed the experievce. I baked my first loaf at home later that afternoon & it turned out really well although tending to the burnt side of things. Tasted great!! Teacher Fei was excellent & answered all questions without hesitation. My only slight problem was actually hearing Fei, but this is probably due to my advanced age - late 70's!! I'll keep baking!! The facilitator was well prepared and presented the class in an organised and efficient manner. The hands-on experience was invaluable and the location was suitable for the class. The group size of 8 participants was ideal too, as it allowed all participants to ask questions and receive support from the facilitator. It would have been helpful to receive the bread proofing basket and bread lame as part of the class fee, or as an option to purchase at the class.

Fay was a great teacher, she had the work stations set up prior to our arrival, was very attentive and detailed in her explanations throughout the class, and had also thought ahead and prepared loaves for each of us earlier so we could practice the later stages of bread-making with her (normally you would have to wait overnight!!). I would’ve liked to take home the proofing basket that we got to use but Fay explained alternatives for us to use if we didn’t have it at home. All in all, I really liked all the inclusions that we had in this class: an instruction booklet, sourdough starter to take home, 2 loaves to take home and bake, hands-on experience, a small class size so easy to follow along and get 1-1 time with the instructor and afternoon tea! We also purchased 2 flour shakers from Fay for $5 each at the end of class, which saved us the hassle of going to find them another day. Thanks so much, we feel much more equipped to go and bake!!

Fei was very friendly and the class was great fun! It was well structured so we could get hand-on experience on all stages of the bread making. Highly recommend!
