“Our cheese making workshop was very enjoyable especially as it was held outside In The Neighbourhood Farm Corinda, where we were surrounded by trees, birds and vegetable gardens.
Alison gave us notes and very thoroughly explained the recipes. Her passion for fresh , home made food and meticulous approach was obvious. We all had turns stirring and cutting mixtures and tasting the beautiful cheeses: farmers’ cheese, haloumi, paneer and ricotta. Unexpectedly we all shared lunch with a delicious salad that we foraged for and cooked paneer and haloumi. A very inspiring and delicious day was had by all!”
“Fabulous experience. This bento voucher was a birthday gift and I’m so glad I chose the cheese making course. I would thoroughly recommend. Alison our instructor was extremely knowledgeable about the whole process of cheese making and meticulous with cleaning and planning. In four hours we made paneer cheese / haloumi and ricotta cheese. And it tasted so much better than store bought.
The outdoor kitchen setting certainly gave it a rustic feel and made for a lovely day. Thank you Alison.”
