Did this Mizuhiki class today where I made earrings. Saki is a great teacher - patient giving very clear instructions. A small class which meant she was able to give each participant plenty of help. I can highly recommend this class

Had a lovely ladies’ day out with Knot ’n Knot by Saki! It was my first time trying Japanese Mizuhiki craft and the experience was absolutely delightful. Saki was incredibly welcoming and made everyone feel at ease from the start. We had the option to create either earrings or a charm in our favourite colours. I was mesmerised by the beautiful selection of Mizuhiki paper cords available. Saki guided us patiently through each step of the knot-tying process, making it easy to follow and enjoyable - even for complete beginners like me : ) Two hours flew by, I enjoyed every minute of it! I absolutely adore the Mizuhiki charm I created that day and have already received so many compliments on it. I’d highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking for a fun, creative, and relaxing experience - especially those with an interest in Japanese culture and traditional crafts.

I recently had the pleasure of joining a mizuhiki workshop, and it exceeded my expectations. I’d always been curious about this intricate craft, and finally trying it myself was both inspiring and calming. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the instructor gave clear, gentle guidance that made the process approachable—even for someone like me with no prior experience in crafts. I left with a beautiful piece I was proud of and a deeper appreciation for the cultural significance behind each knot. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and hands-on introduction to Japanese traditions.

I discovered this Mizuhiki workshop through Instagram and a local market — and I’m so glad I joined! I learned not only how to make a Mizuhiki charm, but also about its deep cultural meaning and beautiful history in Japanese tradition. The instructor was very kind and explained each step with care, making the whole process relaxing and enjoyable. I added my handmade Mizuhiki to my favorite keychain — which I got in Germany — and now it looks even more gorgeous! The colors I chose really pop, and it feels so special to carry something I created with my own hands. If you’re looking for a unique, hands-on way to experience Japanese culture, I highly recommend this workshop. It’s meaningful, fun, and you get to take home something truly personal.
